OH MY! A Sooner fan! My Mom's side of the family are all okie's and my grandfather was a quarterback at OU WAY back there. You can only imagine what it's like around here during UT - OU week! |

Hi, Coastalwader! Yes, yesterday was the first home game and we live five blocks from the stadium. I don't have to turn on TV or radio to hear the game. We beat 'bama, but it wasn't pretty. I can only imagine what it's like during UT-OU. We'd better clean up our act some or that could be a struggle. |

Hi, Dab! My dad is retired from OU and my borther got his
Master's there. My parents have a "combination" type license plate that says they're for both schools though. Happy to meetcha! I'm guessing you're in OKC? Or are you south, west or east? |

I am northeast about 15-20 miles from you. We were transfered here 5 years ago to the base from Sacramento so still trying to understand all the fascination in college ball. It's hard when you aren't use to it. It was so nice this year to have our basketball team on tv for once, Go Kings! We had front row seats to the Redhawks/Sacramento Rivercats so that was nice but it poured so we left in the 4th inning (oh well, had to get up early to drive to Disneyland anyway the next morning!!!)
We are patiently waiting for tickets to go on sale in Memphis for the Kings game there in November I believe.
Anyway, my husband works at the base, I use to but doing college courses over the internet now through Rose.
