Scarlet I give you a lot of credit John. I was a single mom for 6 years till I married my DH. It's hard but moments like that make it all worth it!

fantayzya You know, I'm not sure it's a 'dad' thing or a 'mom' thing, but a more of a 'parent' thing.

I love snuggle time in all it's forms. It's what makes all the garbage of everyday life with kids worthwhile.

Had a special moment today myself, that I have to share, involving my 16 year old son. He's had such a growth spurt over the past year that he really had no long pants for school so we've been slowly trying to add to his wardrobe. Today was another shopping trip, this time just he and I. After about our second store he stopped in the mall, took my arm and said "Mom, it's really nice just chillin' and hangin' out with you" It just made my day that at that age, he still enjoys having me around, especially in public lol.

Enjoy those special moments, and treasure them in your memory for they really are priceless.

Aww Shucks...We're kind of like Goofy and Max...Hope I can still say that at 16. Right now we're fighting over children's choir at church...he is adamant he isn't doing it. Guess I am giving in. I'd love him to do it, but I am not about to force feed anything at church cuz I want him to want to be there. Thanks for sharing.
