Looks like those poor folks are in for a big hit from Hurrican Lili. It is now a category 4 hurricane, with winds up to 140 mph. They have barely recovered from the last hurrican. Keep a good thought for Louisiana tonight, folks.

I'm already keeping them in my prayers especially for Holly, my best friend, who just moved to New Orleans several months ago. (sniffle) I miss her. :( I hope the hurriane weakens before it hits the shores. |

It's funny, when you live on the coast, you always want the Hurricane to go someplace else. But, I'd rather see the Hurricane come in my backyard than hit New Orleans. The place is already below sea level and a storm like this could be devastating. If it goes in just west of New Orleans, they will get the worst of it.
We must have seen 50-60 electric utility trucks and 15-20 heavy duty water pump trailors already heading towards LA. on I-10 this afternoon. It's going to be a mess. :( |
