I am a bit under the weather. I thought I was getting the flu, or something. I did notice a lump at the base of my scalp, just above my neck. Then, overnight, it got quite big, and red, and sore. That, with the flulike symptoms, sent me to the doctor yesterday. Turns out I have an infection where that lump is. Yuck! I have problems taking meds, lots of drug allergies, so my only option for antibiotics is a real strong one. I started it yesterday, and have to take it for ten days. The good news is the lump has gotten a little smaller, and is less red. The bad news is the medication is wiping me out, big time. All I want to do is sleep, and sleep.
So, if you would keep a good thought for me, I would surely appreciate it. I am glad the medication seems to be working, because the alternative would be surgery.

You're in my prayers for a speedy recovery and I promise to take care of your throne and your chocolate pantry. (Psssst! Where did Francine hide the pantry key?) Stay in bed and don't worry. :D (pushes Scarlet off of the ship) I'll keep things under control and rest assured we will miss you terribly as you recover.

Oh bother....why am I feeling that my chocolate supply will be somewhat less when I am better? Janie? I can trust you, right?

I second, third, and fourth that! I am having major flu-like symptoms too (not sure if it is a cold, flu, sinus infection, whatever) but thankfully no lumps or anything!
