Wish me luck fellow babies! I've been awake all night (not intentionally) anticipating an interview at 11:00 this morning. I'm hopped up on so much caffiene that I hope I don't come across as someone wierd!
I'm so excited I could bust (probably the caffiene) because this postion will get me back into Network and Client/Servers as well as a 5 system sysplex Mainframe. (INCLUDING ROBOTIC SILOS!!! I sure miss those robots!) Right now I'm strictly Mainframe on a rinky-dink one system OS/390 and it's getting REALLY boring! :p
Another added benny is I'll be earning as much or more than I'm earning now, have more responsibility and get to work 3, count 'em 3!!! days a week at 12 hours instead of five days at 8 hours. Hell, when I was doing projects I was up to five 12 hour days and one eight hour day on Saturday. I can do three standing on my head.
So wish me well and keep yer fingers crossed! |

It's about 10:30 a.m and you can consider my fingers crossed for you (makes typing this really difficult but hey, it's the least I can do lol)

Thanks for all the positive energy. The interview lasted 1 1/2 hours and concluded with an in depth tour. WOW! Their systems are SO BIG!! What a challenge that would be!!!
I won't know for about two weeks if I got the job or not, but I think I did well. Even on no sleep.
Thanks for all the crossed fingers and special energy sent my way! It helped to buoy me up when I felt like yawning. :D (might catch a nap now) |

This is great news! They must have thought well of you or they wouldn't have spent so much time with you. It's exciting (and scary) to go to something so much bigger, but the woman who srites the insightful and passionate posts that you write is going to shine, shine, shine!
