I am on the hunt for a new vehicle and we are seriously considering a Honda CRV. Are there any owners out there who can give me a review? I had an Accord years ago and LOVED it - the thing just wouldn't die and they stay stylish for almost ever.
We have two midsize sedans now, Toyota and Mazda, but need a vehicle with a little more versatility that is NOT a mini-van, lol! So we are selling the Mazda and looking for a small SUV. I like the look of the CRV and all the standard equipment it has. Any thoughts...anybody? TIA!

i had a crv and had it not gotten totaled in an accident i would still have it! I loved it ! It was great in the snow good gas mileage. the only reason it was totaled was because the drive shaft and transmission case was cracked and I ended up with only having o go to the chiropracter for 3 months and that was it! I was rear ended and i was stopped and hit at about 35 miles an hr! I went from an accord to the crv! I have an explorer right now and am looking at another suv and considering the crv again! My neighbor also has one and bought one because she liked mine!

Thanks Shelle :) I am so sorry to hear you were in an accident, I hope you are doing much better now. I hope this doesn't sound weird but in a way it is good to hear how a CRV is in a high impact collision. 35mph is a pretty hard hit, esp when you are stopped! Safety is one of my main concerns about choosing a vehicle and so far it seems the CRV rates amoung the best for crash tests in small SUV's. We were also looking at Ford Escapes, but it seems the Honda is a better deal because they have a lot of things standard that are "extra" on the Ford :( making CRV less expensive overall.
I think we may have a winner with CRV :)

Hi Tink! We've had a CRV for a year now and love it. In fact, it's our 6th Honda. After we bought our first Honda, we never bought any other kind of car. They *never* break down if you just keep up with the simple maintnance like regular oil changes, etc. I'm looking to trade in my 95 Odyssey and will most likely get another CRV. |
