I finally got to borrow my friend's videotape of Michael Jackson's "Thriller" to see and hear the music because I did the exact same dance number with the dance troupe, and drill team while the entire band played the "Thriller" music at a homecoming football game in high school. People told me that I was so in sync with the music in spite of my hearing loss as I did the number in the front with three other dancers next to me. I didn't follow anybody because sometimes dancers weren't reliable in staying with the music so my mother cued me and I just "ran" with it.

Today, I took off my implant and did the dance first and then popped the tape in and did it again with music. Ya know what--I now get the joke where zombies did the jerky head thing and that sideways walk with hands in claw-like position. Hehehehehe... I could make out some words here and there (didn't read the lyrics first because I wanted to see if I could understand the words)

Loved the cackling at the end of the music video. I'm not real fond of Jackson but had to check out the music. I'm going to see if I can find music videos of Huey Lewis the News "I want a new drug", "Sunglasses at night" Go-Go Girls "Beauty and the Beat", The Cars, and Tears for Fears "Everbody wants to rule the World" etc. How did I know about them? Simple my brothers loved MTV so I just watched the shows with them.

My favorite "retro" music group? Protcol Harem! Their music is WILD! "Whiter shade of Pale" Hehehehe...

Gee...I feel very, very old..... :-)
