I have decided to run far far away from the month of October from now on! Three days ago Norm came home from work with a swollen foot his foot got ran over by a 500ld ladder at work needless to say his foot is broken! So for the next 4 weeks I will be his servant! Do I smell a trip to Wdw after this one. We were actually thinking about going to wdw this weekend months ago. Anyway we were going to go to VA before all the sniper attacks to see a friend then she had to fly to seattle to take care of her mother who had back surgery and has a blood clot in her leg. So my cousin has decieded to keep me busy this weekend hence the fact that this is 1 yr anniversary of my brother and parents death. Maybe we will get marrried this week (next year).

I'm so sorry to hear about Norm's broken foot, what
a awful thing to have happen. It's good that he has
you there to help him out. You will get thru this
month and start planning another trip to WDW as soon
as you are both able. Think positive thoughts and
things will start to fall into place with your upcoming
wedding plans

{{{shelle}}} I knew the anniversary was soon. I will keep you in my prayers this weekend. I am sure that your parents, and your brother, are smiling down on you every day.
I hope the foot heals quick. Is he on crutches, or does he have a walking cast?

Hi Shelle,
I'm sorry to hear about the foot! What a drag. Here's hoping things will heal well and quickly.
Just wanted to pop in and tell you that I remember your story too and I'll be thinking about you.
I agree, I hate October too.

Thanks gang! He's on crutches and we are managing! I helped him get a shower about an hour ago! We are making process!

Here is something that might help.

I used these for Mari, and what a lifesaver. She could shower with no problem, as her cast did not get wet at all. She could also swim with no problem. You might find a medical supply place near you that carries them, and not have to order it on the internet. The folks at xersox are very helpful.
I also recomend a shower chair. Fortunately we had one, from Tim's surgery. It was a big concern for me, as I was afraid she would slip in the shower.

Thanks I checked
it out but you know how men are he'd rather sit in
the tub in a yoga position and have me help him! I
think WDW and a new car are what I need after this
one!
