Guys-

I just got this e-mail from my oldest daughter's school and cried. I needed it and was feeling so low after been kicked around and getting these really awful porn e-mails:

"Your child is participating in the current soccer program. Sarah won the Teamwork Award because she showed that she cared more about the team than getting the glory.

Please congratulate her on this achievement. The most effective way we can teach the children positive values and life skills is by having the child's parent or caregiver reinforce the mottos we teach.

Thank you for your involvement in the program!"

We're going out tonight to celebrate.

That is fantastic, Janie! Way to go, Sarah!

There is nothing so fullfilling as feeling proud of our children.

Isn't that great!?!?!

Way to go!

I remember way back when my oldest went to a basketball camp and came home with the sportsmanship trophy. I told him that was the best award he could have won in my opinion.

Odd timing event. My youngest just brought that trophy out last night to verify with me that it meant his big brother was a nice guy. Haven't seen or thought about that thing in several years. Oh, my answer? Most of the time.

Congrats to your daughter and to you! You've taught her well.

Hey, that's some great parenting! Are you going to let Ron Ng know about this?

OUTSTANDING! A potential Common Grounder, huh?

Kudos to you and yours!

Edited to add: Any idea where she gets this "kicking" talent?
