Posted 01-27-03 08:32 AM Last night I turned on the heater and NOTHING! A little cold air blowing out. Something is either wrong with my heater or the gauge on the propane is off worse than what we thought. The propane guy knew it was off and was going to put in a new tank with new gauge as this one is very old but waiting for winter to be over so we wouldn't be out of heat any days. So I just called as they open at 7 and they said it will take a week to come fill us up, they are so far behind. Go figure since the gauge was off I was calling today to order propane anyway since it's been a month after we got some. In previous years being from CA and not use to this cold, we'd have the thing way up all day and filled up once a month where others didn't so for the last month I've been turning it on at 11pm and off at 7am and when I'm home in the day just using this electric radiater heater for me. It lasted a shorter length of time!
The luck is, it's going to be in the high 50's and 60's this week. Short weather after being in the teens. It's a PITA living way out in the sticks where no one wants to deliver. At least we have a couple of electric radiators that we bought when we first bought the house a few years ago.

Are you a "keep-full" or "will-call"? I like persons better than principles, and I like persons with no principles better than anything else in the world.
