Posted 01-25-03 01:00 PM Since I'm not a hunter, I'm guessing hunting season is over?
we were driving down the main street of our town and everyone had to stop....10 deer go running across the street in front of us. Cute little things!
On a sadder note, we gave our german shepard away today. My soon to be ex got her while we were in CA, he won't take care of her, my kids want to get close to her but don't cause their german shepard died last year so they keep their distance. she would get loose and run to the neighbors to play with their dog so my neighbor wanted her. She really needed someone who would take her on walks and have her run which she didn't get to do here.
I am off to go hunt down a nice dresser.

Posted 01-26-03 11:17 AM Gotta watch those deer, generally when they run in front of cars either the car or the deer is ummm 'toast' And they're seldom alone. always be on the look-out for another one right behind them. That's the one that'll getcha.
I'm sorry to hear that you had to give your puppy away. It's so hard to make decisions like that. At least you already know your pup is comfy there as it was a choice visiting spot before. And you're right, if it's not possible for you to give the pup what she needs right now then it's better for all this way. You can still visit though, right?
