She's 8 1/2 mos, 2 1/2 to go. We can really see the baby rolling around in there now (the last three months of pregnancy is baby growth in a big way; >); her entire belly changes "bulge" from one side to the other!

We've set it up so that when the other horses go out to pasture to graze, DancerB gets to stay in the barn area with her stall door open so that she can wander as she pleases in and out between grass (in the yard) and alfalfa hay (in her stall) She LOVES it, and a happy mom makes for a happy foal, n'est-ce pas?

LOL, Robb! Horses are actually alot easier to adjust than humans because they don't hold tension with as much determination as we do; >) A little light massage, and they actually relax! Most adjustments are primarily about placement (loading the vertebre, in technical terms; >) so that the slightest movement then 'motivates' the vertebre back into alignment. It does take some muscle power though, because alot of times, it's one of the legs that is getting "placed" and, since horses weigh 1000lbs or more, if they lean into the lifted leg... Yeehaw!

I appreciate the visual, Ahnalira. I'm glad you're learning this technique but I was going to ask how you get the horse's nose unstuck from the little hole in the headrest.
A whole week of peaceful bliss, beginning with a giggle and ending with a kiss.

I have a few meandering through my mind... of course, at the moment of arrival they could all dissolve into an obvious choice; >)

Right now, if it's a colt, he'll be named Jebudiah (Buddy Blossoms for short; >)

A filly has this list to choose from:
Fancy Free
Fancy Full
Bliss
Blessed Be
Sweet Heart

Whaddy think?

I've always liked the name "Fancy Pants". It fits for either boy or girl horse.
