I've just returned from what is destined to become the weekly Krispy Kreme run to Waldbaum's grocery store.
And no, I do NOT want help with my addiction. Leave me alone, and keep your hands out of the KK box, dammit!

being British, that I have neither Dunkin Donuts or
Krispy Kreme within about 200 miles of me

If you never know what you're missing, you'll never
pick up the addiction. (I've never had a Krispy Kreme
and, with luck, I never WILL have one. They sound
terribly addicting and awfully fattening!) 
A whole week of peaceful bliss, beginning with a giggle

Last year during one of my many failed attempts at dieting, I was in Weight Watcher's. They said if you're going to eat a donut, the best one to have is a Krispy Kreme. I think that's because what makes them so good is that they are puffed full of air. I could eat a great big box in one sitting and not take a breath between bites.
