Author Message Common Ground / Security Blanket - Computer Questions / Quoting and Avatars Crank Administrator Posts: 1957 Registered: Aug 2002  Posted 11-07-02 01:10 PM                 One can quote the entire message when replying to a post by clicking the reply button on the top of the post.(the left button of the three) To manually qoute, place "quote" in brackets before the text you are quoting and "/quote" in brackets directly after - no spaces or quotation marks. To link to an avatar, first the avatar must be saved online in a 100x100 pixel format. Click the saved avatar until just the avatar shows on the page then copy and paste this url into your profile. To put an image into a post put " [img] " directly before the url and " [/img] " directly after - again no spaces or quotation marks. Not that I'm the clever one...
