It had the subject line 'Please Help'. There was no text, but there was an attachment. My Norton Internet Security did not react to it, and yes, my NIS is updated. The email was sent to several people. I didn't recognise the sender, but one or two of the other folks recieving it looked familiar. In fact one email, another recipient, was a familiar email from rch.

I deleted it so fast, and then went to my deleted folder, and deleted it from there. Of course, I did not open the attachment.

I am hoping it was not infected, and that if it was I deleted it quick enough. What worries me is that there are so many new bugs out there, and could this one be so new that even Norton doesn't have it yet.

What do you all think?

No doubt that if you are one of the first to get a new virus, some of the AVS systems won't see it for what it is. Just keep updating and checking Norton's site to see if they mention anything new with the subject line you got.
