My firewall is going nuts. Under attack/port scan from various locations around the planet. The script kiddies must have no date this Friday night! Tink *~*~*

WAY too numerous! I'd have to ship you half my firewall log! And no, I don't think that this is "them". I think that some little child hacker wannabe is bored with the AOL boards tonight and wants to amuse itself. Tink *~*~*

FYI,
I bought new internet, virus and firewall protection.
I ran all of the IP's that were posted here and they ALL originated from one place. Some of them routed over to Haiti, Australia, China~and then back, but they all came from one place. (YEP). I always wondered why somebody didn't do something about that. Then I realized I was somebody. --Lily Tomlin

I'm not overly thrilled with the versions of Norton I currently have. I'm thinking of getting Trend Micro's suite. What did you get, and do you recommend it? I toss my cookies for Disney.
I wonder what inspired this new Disney T-shirt? "I'm right. You're wrong. Any Questions?"

I would recommmend Norton Virus and Zone Alarm for
good luck.
But as a result of this %$#@& jerk, I have a firewall AND Norton Internet Security. Which specifically targets hackers, as well as virus protection, etc. has some cool features.

I've been advised to say no more about my hack attacks and let the authorities handle it. I'm just here to lend support and let you ladies know that I know what you're going through.

I found these instructions on the FAQ page of trace route on symantec...I tried it and it worked but only prob is it opens in a dos window and I have no idea how to navigate in that...such as page up and down and then when I clicked on the button for full screen I couldn't figure out how to get back to normal window I tried escape and nothing so i had to cont-alt-del then select end task on ms/dos...sheesh
How can I complete a traceroute from my computer to the IP address in question?
The following operating systems have commands that will allow you to perform a simple traceroute:
Windows 95/98/ME:
From the Start menu, choose Start > Run
Enter "command" and click OK
From the C:\> prompt, type "tracert" followed by the IP address that you would like to trace
Windows NT WS/2000 Pro/XP:
From the Start menu, choose Start > Run
Enter "cmd" and click OK
From the C:\> prompt, type "tracert" followed by the IP address that you would like to trace
