Since it seems the people here are trying to get past all the hoopla of the past couple months, we should start a list (like both those other sites do) of who is going when so we can meet up. If you want, I will maintain the list but people should e-mail (or PM) directly rather than post.
I'll start. My best friend David, his brother Dale and I will be at PO-Riverside from 12/24 - 1/1. We plan to be in Epcot on Christmas Day and MK New Year's Eve. Anyone interested in meeting up with us?

Oh, how i WISH I were going at Christmas time! I've heard so many excellent things about WDW during the holidays. However, I typicaly go in March, when the company pays for me to stay at the CS for a conference. There is an outside chance that I may join my brother's family down there for a long weekend in November, but that's only if my job stops eating my life sufficiently to allow me to get away. My niece reaaaaaaalllly wants Aunt Errie to go with her!

This will be my first time at Christmas and I can't wait! When I was making the initial plans I was working on the assumption that Dale could only go for a week and it was killing me that we would be leaving right before NYE. Then when David and I actually started to finalize and he said Dale could take as much as two weeks so why not just extend so we can be at the Castle for NYE I was jumping up and down (inside...not pretty when 40-somethings jump like that). Now I have even convinced them to let me try to get CRT for NYE dinner.
Doesn't get much better! Unless you guys would quit hogging the chocolate...
