Posted 01-12-03 10:08 AM We spent two nights at Vero Beach prior to heading to Disney World for Christmas. It is a beautiful resort. It is relaxing with not a lot of activity. You can swim in the pool or on the beach. There is a small mini golf course. You can play croquet, ride bikes or hike. We stayed in a one bedroom villa. It was very roomy. It had a large bathroom and a separate room off the bedroom with a hot tub and sink. The kitchen, dining and living room were combined in one open area. The kitchen was well-stocked. There was a washer, dryer, ironing board and iron in the hallway to the bedroom. The only downside was caused by our upstairs neighbors who woke us at 1 a.m. with their fighting. I can't blame the resort for their bad behavior.
We ate the Sunday brunck at Sonya's. The food was excellant. I have some pictures but I don't know how to include them.

Posted 01-12-03 09:24 PM Thanks for posting about Vero Beach. I've been wondering about it. In fact, one of my brothers is looking to split his vacation next year, a week alone with the wife, and then Aunt Tink *~*~* brings the nieceling down for the second week in Orlando. They were trying to think of where to go, because they are at that stage where they still feel guilty if they drive thru the gates of WDW without the rugrat. So I'm going to tell them about Vero Beach.
Does anyone know if they are still offering discounts to go and listen to the spiel about the DVC? Tink *~*~*
