Did anyone catch Inside The Actors Studio interview with Robin Williams?
They review most if not all his movies and it was quite a ride with Mr Williams being his usual insane self.
We enjoyed this one quite a bit and have found the man to seem humbled by many of his experiences....he's not only somewhat more reserved, he shines with his ability to look back and see his mistakes and glean valuable lessons from them.
A fun and very interesting interview if you can catch it.
I believe it's on Bravo network. *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

I caught the end of his HBO special, then the end of the interview on Bravo. The man is a hoot!
If you ever get a chance to catch his HBO special, don't miss it. It's not for the kiddies, but it's hysterical. I toss my cookies for Disney. |

About 18 years ago, I came home from day surgery on a hernia. My Mom plopped me on the floor of our den in front of the TV when a Robin Williams special was on HBO.
Problem? I was laughing so hard, and the remote was no where in sight. I had to get up (not easy, with a fresh abdominal incision) and crawl over to the TV to change the channel. My Mom found me later in a heap in front of the TV. I was in soooo much pain.
My (late) father wrote a poem experience, but alas it is in our safety deposit box. It was a really funny poem.

I think I caught the tail end of the Robin Williams special on HBO...was it on right before OZ last night? I'd rather be happy than right. |

Oz was on after it? Damn...I switched over to Bravo catch the interview. Ah, checked the schedule and OZ is being rerun tonight. Anyway that sounds like the HBO special I mentioned.
I caught part of it about a month or so ago, and it's got to be one of the funniest I've seen shows I've seen in years. The only repeat I see listed on HBO's site is Sun 1/26 09:30 PM on HBO COMEDY. I toss my cookies for Disney. |

Hey, I have a Disney story related to Robin Williams!
When walking into the Magic Kingdom this past August, the security checker mistook my husband for Robin Williams at first and got momentarily excited. It was kinda funny. I don't really think they look alike, my husband is younger than he is, but I suppose with the super-mirrored I am cool shades he had on that day , along with a general tendency toward hairy extremities (he would KILL me if he knew I wrote that ), there might be some confusion. It provided a laugh anyway! |
