Do you have a favorite?
We saw the "200 Oxen" ad for the first time tonite and split a gut laughing at the herds of weiner dogs...especially the STAMPEDE of little hounds! LOL LOL

I'm wondering too, what they'll come up with next!

Have you ever been to a Weiner Dog National? I don't know if this is regional, national or if it is something they just do back home in Chattanooga, but people with Daschounds get together and race them - all the proceeds go to charity. My uncle has a long haired and he always comes in second - but its about the funniest things I've ever seen!

At the risk of being the turd in the punchbowl, I have a few questions:

1. Who is Karma?

2. How did s/he get 160 posts after registering just days ago?

3. Why are the topics posted by Karma suspiciously like the topics posted on the inane "reply only" board over at Magic Alley?

4. Could this be somebody's attempt to bring "karma" to Common Ground by turning it into a venue for pointless idiot chatter, thereby creating the ultimate act of poetic justice: morphing CG into Magic Alley?

Forgive me if these questions are answered in the many threads I was too bored to read.
Repent! The end is near!

And nice to meet you too. Those are good questions.

#1.I am someone who came here because I saw that a friend (LL) was feeling VERY blue. I came in support of her, which in turn, caused some of my *fans* to follow me here. I am not very fond of my fans but they seem to like me a lot. Or something. LOL
My *fans* are very opposed to the fact that I have used several aliases at different websites, some Disney sites and others totally unconnected with Disney. I never tried to hide who I was except the times I wanted to get away from those that found it necessary to follow me around.

#2. I am a posting maniac. I could care LESS about someone's post count and have no idea how many posts you've made here. It never was a priority of mine to keep track of those kinds of things. (except to once in a while poke fun at how important it can seem to some people...not pointing fingers, just an observation.)

#3. I have no idea what Magic Alley is and I've never posted there. Now about that "inane" remark...LOL
There are all sorts of people in the world, some talk more than others, some want more meat in their conversation than others...personally, I don't participate in many political threads. Perhaps I'm too inane to enjoy politics, I dunno.

#4. Pretty sure I got here on my own two feet. The morphing idea sounds cool though. I'm a big sci fi fan so......

Hope this helped a bit.

Feel free to ask anything else. I'm game.

Karma is an old buddy from a BB I used to frequent about a year ago. I don't know that she had any involvement in YKW et. al. Some of the homes for us here are RADP, some homes are OurLaughingPlace, some homes are the DIS and some homes are (or used to be) RCH. If I were to put a home to Karma, I'd probably say the DIS

Karma talks. Alot. She'd probably fit right in with the pirates of the Stickey Mickey.

Generally Karma is upbeat and positive. Just because someone has a positive and upbeat posting style doesn't necessarily mean they're from Magic Alley.

My posting style generally reflects my "niche" on the Debate Board of the DIS so it's unlikely you'll see me participating in "fluff" (to me) posts, but that doesn't mean there aren't skads of other people out there who enjoy that. To each his own. Live and let live. That's what I say.

I seriously doubt CG will become like Magic Alley. There are just too many intelligent people here to be satisfied with "So what do you like best about Magic Kingdom/airline food/belly-button lint" threads. I think there's pretty much something for everyone here and it's a great place to keep up on the legal aspects of what's been going on at Magic Alley.

I'd rather be happy than right.

I can understand, rubbernecker, being suspicious, but Karma does seem to be cool. She fits in well with this crowd. And I can understand the rapid posting because I usually do that myself.
Karma, there's been a lot of "infiltrators" here of late, so don't take the suspicions personally. I'm enjoying your posts.

Yep. Like I said, rubberneckers questions were good ones. Glad to answer any that I can if I am able and allowed to do so. (some questions can't be answered but I will tell you that's the case if it comes up)

My favorite was Aaron Burr peanut butter commerical for "Got Milk?" The look on the guy's face was priceless and I do wish I had taped it so I could hear him talk. I checked the 'net to see if I could find a clip and didn't find it.

Favorite Sprint commercial was the one during the 2002 Olympics with the ski team. Showed them with their suits and helmets on, looking like space aliens, shopping, doing exercises, hanging out while listening to voice email in these funny little electronic voices. In the end, the funny little electronic voice says, "Conquer the mountain, dude!"

Durn, I haven't seen that one!

Maybe they'll re-play it on worlds funniest commercials or something. (then again I don't watch those shows either, so I'll likely never see the Aaron Burr ad...*starting to sobb in my coke cuz life is passing me by!* LOL)
