Karma Hope this is ok to mention here, but it's sort of comical.

I was telling my hubby how people on different websites seem to get pretty worked up (ticked off) about the fact that some folks create/use different names for themselves to use online. I happen to have a few aliases myself and I mentioned this to hubby.

The following is our conversation from that point on:

Hubby: Yeah. I always thought there were a lot of you.

Me: Shut up! There are not!
Me: *in a lower voice* HAH! That's what YOU think!

Us: *LOUD laughter*

Hubby: How am I gonna manage more than one of you around here?

Me: I SAID SHUT UP! There is only ONE ME!
Me: *in a higher voice* HEY! Speak for yourself!

Us: *PANTS wetting laughter*

Hubby: Well, honey, I always hoped for a hot night with several partners.

Me: Stop that. There's only one of me. You dork.
Me: *in yet another voice* I wanna be on top!

Us: *nearly drove off the road we were laughing so hard*

Now THAT was a fun conversation. :)

Anyone else have multiple personalities out there? :D ;)
p.s. the latest news is there really is no such thing, if ya hadn't heard. LOL LOL LOL

Me: *in my other voice* Shut up. What do YOU know, smarty pants!

hee hee hee

omnicient you are indeed the expert on multiple internet personas, aren't you?
01-01-03 02:47 PM
Karma :D

Seems so.

Although on my old website I discovered one person with over 20 personalities registered.

But that's neither here nor there. I wasn't mentioning this to egg you on, so please go away. I mentioned it because the converstation between my hubby and I was hysterical...or at least I thought so.

In fact, I still think his and my talk was a riot. And you can't make me think otherwise.

Happy New Year. :)

omnicient let's see ...pgrulke, snort, coconutpattie, erika sanderson, karma ... and that's just the tip of the iceberg, isn't it?

Karma You forgot PTPatti and GmaPatti LOL LOL

I'm sorry you have issues with me, but I was hoping to post some lighthearted stuff here without you guys bugging me. :)

I still think the multiple personality conversation hubby and I had was funny as heck. We're still getting a chuckle out of it today. I did some laundry and found a shirt I didn't recognize...so hubby says "I wonder which one of YOU it belongs to??" We melted in giggles once again.

Later we find that it belongs to grand daughters daddy, but how it got in MY laundry I'll never know! LOL LOL

Yes, but what does that have to do with humor?
01-03-03 07:08 PM
Scarlet My old nick name at work used to be Sybil.
Nuff said........
Janie are you full of it again?
I told you chocolate would do that to you didn't I!

Livda T. Nirtom What I really find amusing is that some people try to figure out who is who and come up wrong most of the time!

Crank Personally, I see nothing wrong with having multiple personas. As long as it is ONE persona per site.

That being said, I DO believe that keeping the same nick "globally" increases integrity ten-fold.

Just my $.03 (inflation) worth...
01-04-03 02:25 PM
Livda T. Nirtom No, with inflation I think it's actually .07 cents now.

Ah yes, back to reality here.

I have several valid (I feel they're valid anyway) reasons for having other names. One was that yes, I went to other websites...3-4 TOTALLY unconnected with Disney and I made my names at those sites to reflect the topic/subject matter at those sites. PTPatti was one name...a board where we talked about PTCruisers.

Another time when things were still relatively fun at my old site (The TroublemakersClubhouse aka TMC) , we were playing a guessing game.

I came in as OTZI and people were guessing who I was...this was on purpose. I would give hints like "it's very cold here. i'm REALLY old." stuff like that.
If you look OTZI up on google you'll find out who he is. LOL
It was a fun game and I wish we could have done more of these.

Another time a friend and myself created two characters, a married couple, he being the cranky old fart and I was the elderly old woman who was really into her Maytag washer, IF ya get my drift LOL....we posted as these characters but NEVER to bash people, just to be this silly old couple. We never tried to hide who we were and if anyone asked, I don't recall continuing.

I still think that when a name is created for the SOLE purpose of hurting others or causing trauma at another website, that it's unfair to everyone. I also think people who hide behind aliases are cowards..and maybe some of that is understandable....but it isn't fair when I am willing to stand up and say who I am.

It's truly incredible that some of the people who detest me for my many names have MANY of their own, and their names were created for the sole purpose of hiding or being sneaky.

To each his own I guess.

OKAY then, vent over.

Back to your regular programming, PLEASE. :D

01-04-03 02:54 PM
Karma oh and...i have several names at other sites so i can play in peace.

the gang who keeps dogging me won't leave me alone and i am unable to talk without them making fun of me elsewhere, OR without them taking my words and twisting them into something i didn't mean.....so i am using old old old aliases that nobody knows about.

so sue me if i don't wanna be or have my words discussed on other websites. LOL LOL

Are Saturdays planned spazzes or do you usually do them spur-of-the-moment?
I'm partial to the spur-of-the-moment spaz attacks myself....

Livda, some people spaz JUST on Saturdays, the rest of us have the ability to spaz at will...at any given time!

I love humans, they're each so individual and unique. That is so cool.

Spaz away Livda. :D

Janie and her water balloons. I'm thinking "Lethal Weapon 82" here folks. Anyone know a movie producer we can call?
