Peggo So these rules are just for checked luggage?! What about carry-ons? Or are They totally discouraged now?

They get a harder look than before, but most all airlines are back to normal as far as carry-ons go.

Very true. I had to carry my battery charger for my implant in my carry on and they took it out and really inspected it. The first guard wouldn't take my medical card but the second one did (first one needs to take a lesson from the second guard. He was grouchy!) and was very very nice.

I truly think that since the federal government took over the program, things got better and hopefully they'll stay updated on the medical devices.
