Every year, I look forward to bringing out my Christmas CDs and listening to them over and over and over and over....
It's December 28th and I am done, d'ya hear me? I need something loud and raucous.
Suggestions? I'm standing here with a copy of U2 WAR in my hands.... |

I'm listening to one of my new CDs at the moment
"Best of Bowie" Twenty songs from covering his first album to his most recent - great CD - saw him at the Spectrum way back when in Phila : )
Yes - same here the Christmas music has been put away - just today though - we are still watching some movies, Christmas Carol with Alistar Sim - we celebrate through til January 7th (Little Christmas)
One of the best Christmas Presents received this year
tickets to see Miss Saigon - should be a great show!!

I found a really great new Christmas CD this year (a compilation called Maybe This Christmas and I must have listened to it at least once a day for 3 weeks. But yes, I'm sick of it and all Christmas music.
But, my husband found the video clip of YKW2 Bowie and Bing Crosby doing Little Drummer Boy and it actually moved me to tears with all it's talk of hope for peace, etc... Christmas makes me sappy.
OK, new music- my husband gave me the Nirvana compilation for Christmas, but I think I'm more in the mood for my son's 80's hits CD (he's reintroduced me to Kaja Goo Goo. Ah, the memories!)

Tink, you have no idea. U2 is my guilty obsession lol, especially Bono! I got the new Best of compilation for Christmas, including the limited B-sides. Fabulous! Crank it up! (not YOU, Crank :D)

I LOVE this song - especially the campy way Elvis sings it. I'm not an Elvis fan any other time, but I love his Christmas CD.

That's ok Judy - we all have our blue moments and this Christmas was mine :( And yes, I was thinking of the Elvis version :) Mom has the whole Elvis album collection - from the skinny young guy to the fat dude with porkchop sideburns, heehee :D Got to listen to the King an awful lot as a youngin'

Belle, you just reminded me of the nice "private" concert my daughter and I got of Rascal Flatts at Foxwoods. They set up and practiced their whole act and no one else noticed. Guess it's hard to get the attention of Gamblers . Anyway, we enjoyed it a lot, and it was free. Whoo hoo.
My new CD is of Matchbox 20. I love that Robb Thomas' voice. |
