Please help me! I'm trying to clean my little house, really I am. I'll go and vacuum something, then scurry back to the computer. I actually cleaned the walk in closet, made it all neat and purty, but came right back to the computer. What is wrong with me? I cannot seem to stick to the housecleaning today.

HA! You should see this place! It looks like some room 15 people opened a dozen Christmas presents in each and then left!
Wait....that's exactly what happened!
It's been a VERY slow clean up here too. It will be done today, somehow. Well...maybe.. ;)

Never use "house" and "clean" in the same sentence! It makes me feel guilty about the mess in my family room and the empty boxes stacked by the garage door! I'll clean the house AFTER New Years Day! Why clean if your family is gonna mess it up a few days later?

My method involves inviting 15 family member over for Christmas eve, then inviting 4 dear friends and their assorted kidlets for New Years eve. Then make the husband take a week off. I neglected to factor in the two sick kids and the neck cramp, but I think my house will be clean in time for Tuesday's festivities.
Of course, I've spent the last few hours here trying just to catch up with what I've missed so we'll see what my priorities turn out to be!

I know the feeling. After the holiday decorations come down I'm taking on the daunting task of repainting the entire upstairs. No easy feat, I tell you. I suppose things will get cleaned along the way.

Ummm TrpltJanie, are ya plannin' on CLEANIN' yer floor while yer down there?
Next time ya fall, make sure yer holdin' a sponge or somethin' so ya kin wipe the floor while yer flailin' around on it, ok hun?
To make it easier why don't ya duct tape some sponges to yer bod and that way you won't have ta remember 'em...you kin just fall, flail and clean mindlessly that way.
I'm jus tryin' ta help ya here.
