VB, I am no where NEAR skinny enough to do the "chair dance" thing like in Flashdance.

Arms in the air, gay dance music on the radio (disco, something happy with a techno-beat..and YES, the name of the album is "Gay Dancing" believe it or not. I also have both "Queer As Folk" soundtracks)

Well, I haven't seen your picture yet, so I will have to take your word for it.

As for the music, we have a "Gay Dance Party" cd we burned at work, to upset the boss. He's a bit of a homophobe, so I polled (not PULLED) all of my gay friends, and we came up with a list of REALLY gay dance songs.

This list includes:
Karma Chamelion by Culture Club
Mmm Bop by Hanson
Supermodel by RuPaul
and several others, but it finishes with one of the gayest songs I know:
"Monster" by Fred Schneider of the B52's, which has the memorable lines "There's a monster in my pants, and it does a naughty dance. When it comes into a room, people hit it with a broom."

I would love to find a copy of this "Gay Dancing" album. What label is it on?

I don't know if this pic is going to work, but you can get it on Amazon.com. Here's the label cover:

It's called "Gay Dancing" and is put out by ZYX Music and has two discs. My very, very favorite chair dancing song is "Just Can't Get Enough" by Sam Walker on Disc One (although if you don't know what they're saying, it sound like he's singing "I just can't get it up")

It has Village People, Bananarama, and Nicki French ("Total Eclipse of the Heart") and others as well as mixes and re-mixes that are great to dance to.
I'd rather be happy than right.

Village People is too obvious.

So are Pet Shop Boys.

Amazon, here I come...

Yeah but do you make this "noise" while eating?

My wife kicks me when I do that...

HEY LL! YOU"RE GOIN' TO DISNEY WORLD!

I'm happy for you, darlin'. Booking our pending trip last March pulled me out of a bad case of Cabin Fever. There's no remedy like The Mouse.

BTW, no haircut for Ajax. My favorite barbershop, 'Roosters', had closed early. Ergo, no mullet. Or as the style is pronounced on the south side of Lapeer, a 'Moo-Lay'.
See you at Epcot on New Years Eve! I'll be the one staring into the sky with my mouth open!

A Moo-Lay. Nice.

Sadly, hubby complimented me tonite on how purdy my hair looks. Took a quick peek in the window at the mall, and I swear...on the little baby jesus bong....I SWEAR that my hair has grown into a Moo-Lay.
I'm seriously wondering if it really was a compliment or if he was slipping in a frightening observation that I really need a haircut BAAAADDDDdddddddddd.

I think I'll go drown my sorrows now. Then again maybe not. Probably not too cool to be drunk while sporting a great coif people named after a fish, eh?

LL I got here late,(someone sent me the link to this thread actually) All I have to say is Consider the source. If they aren't troublemakers, then why do they have to lurk here to see what you post and then register under alieses(which they claim they don't have) and then post this crap? All they want to do is start trouble. Even though they claim that they haven't done anything. They see what they want to see.

Please, please, please ignore them, they really aren't worth the effort or time.

""""Do the people from the Dis board who are being blasted know about that board?""""

Most of them, no, but then some of us have learned and just feel sorry for them, cause they litterally have nothing better to do then to call others obscene names and be misrable folks. Ignoring them is the best thing.

LL.....you know I support you too, and I do know the whole story as to why you posted what you did and I also know that you apologized to Steve and that apology was accepted....but of course these people can't just drop it....even for Steve's sake, I'm sure he loves his life broadcast like this  I sincerely hope his wife makes a full recovery, but come on people this is someones LIFE we are talking about.....leave it alone for gods sake!!!

Now THERE'S a name I recognize! Hiya Beauty!!

For some of my CG friends who may not DIS often, Beauty is a somewhat innocent, scatterbrained female who is on the vanilla side of life. (I'll try to watch what I post, but sometimes I slip...my apologies ahead of time)

(Please correct me if I'm wrong)She's got a husband, a little boy and a cat and isn't afraid to use any of them. If I were to compare her to a regular here, I'd say she's a little to the left of Francine on the niceness scale. (She's nice most of the time, but watch out during ::ahem:: certain times of the month) She might get mean but three days later (I've counted) she'll come back really embarassed and apologetic. That's just how she is and we love her anyway.

She's also not offended when I call her redneck or trailer trash. In return, I don't get offended when she calls me a witch and means bitch and, though she hasn't used it yet, I probably wouldn't get offended if she told me that "Skyclad is optional so put your clothes back on because we're eating later and want to keep our appetites. DAMMIT WOMAN LOSE SOME WEIGHT!!".

I'd rather be happy than right.

?????

I figured if I just ignored it, VB, it would go away. I don't understand what Beauty is bringing from other boards, but I can vouch for her being alot nicer than I am.

I just don't understand this because it's not a full moon.

Anyone see the South Park episode where we get to meet Mr. Hankey's family? His wife and the kids, a.k.a. The Nuggets?

I suspect we are dealing with a nugget. It just keeps floating around and won't go away, no matter how hard you try to get rid of it.
