phamton I know this should go over at the Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious board but this board seems to be more active today. Test your knowledge of Christmas Urban Legends. There are 10 multiple choice questions.

HA!! I just now came from there! Got sixty percent the first time!

phamton 60 per cent is an excellent score for someone that isn't an Urban legend nut like me. I got 90 but only because I know Urban legends like most of you know Disney. It would be fun to make up a Disney quiz. Everyone here would probably get 100% where as non-Disney people would get a poor score. You know questions like: where is Club 33 or is Walt frozen or what is Sleeping Beauty's real name?

Robin I was terrible at it. It said I only got 30, yet when I looked at many of the answers I thought I got them right. Oh well, next time I'll read more carefully.

fantayzya Hello Shell,

It's very nice to see you again! Don't fret, I ended up with only 40% and thought I was such a smartie while I was answering the questions.

Ahh well.

Happy Holidays!

Robin I realize when I do these, I don't answer what I believe the answer is, but what I think they will tell me the answer is. (ie. presume it's a trick question)

Oh well...it worked years ago on my SATs.

Coastalwader Boy, I bombed it! 30%.

phamton The average score is 30% for most people. Those who regularly contribute to the Urban legend boards averaged 60%. It isn't easy. I missed the reindeer question and I thought I nailed that one.

Ajax 40%. I hate that site! I'm going to find out where Snopes lives and burn his home! BTW, Merry Christmas!

inkydinkydoo Oh my goodness!! You guys are brilliant! I only got one question right for 10%!!! I'm either incredibly stooopid or unusually gullible. And, no thanks! I'd rather not know which.

Parker I missed that one too! I couldn't believe it. The only one I got right was about Rudolph and Montgomery Wards.

Yeah,, I knew that one because Dad used to work at Wards. I knew the Immaculate Conception one because, well because it's my birthday and the School Sisters of St. Francis did their best to drum that one into my head. The depression around the holidays - well, that's the business I'm in, and no, suicide and mental illness does not increase with a full moon, with christmas, or any of the other legends you hear.
The candy cane one, well, knowing it was from SNOPES, I eliminated the answer most likely to be an urban legend. Same with many of the others.
