I had a great time once my computer stopped crashing! For those of you who didn't make it we had rum & eggnog, scotch, sf fudge, fresca, Krispy Kremes, chinese, deep dish pizza from Chicago, chocolate pie and lots of fun! I'd also like to thank Ahnalira for the chat room. We must do it again!
I've got loads to do before I leave; Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year to all.
I look forward to seeing John & John the smaller on Christmas Eve for dinner and MK fireworks cruise. Also looking forward to seeing Ajax, Ahnalira & Alan, Tigerlily and whoever else can stop by on 12/30 at 3PM in the Tambu Lounge at the Poly. I will definitely be covering my Mickey hat in tin foil so everyone will recognize me. And Alan, if I get a chance I will definitely try to bring a Chicago pizza down with me. What toppings?

Mary, I logged on about 11PM Eastern and missed you and Peggo and the rest that left earlier. All that was left was some fresca, code red and scotch. Ooooo, my aching head! But I stayed until well after 2AM. We ended the night with me and Robin telling ghost stories and scaring poor Coastal. I hope he didn't have nightmares!
I want to add my thanks to those already extended to Ahnalira and Alan for their kind hospitality - we had a blast, and I hope we can do it again sometime.

Looks like I missed the boat, as usual. I was incoherent anyhow. And with my typing skills (none), I would have reminded everone of Uncle Albert on Christmas Eve, blurting out mysterious phrases five minutes after the conversation had moved on to a different topic. Did anyone wear a lampshade?:D |

Seriously it was a lot of fun. It was great to talk with every in realtime. I can type fairly fast in a chat if I abandon capitalization and let my spelling go to heck. (Apologizes to the English majors!)
I got the the chat late but the last of us didn't leave until about 11:30 PST (8 pm in Coastal's alternate universe...hee hee).
Thanks to Ahnalira and Alan for hosting us. Hopefully we didn't leave the room in too much a mess. I hope we get to do this again, it was a hoot. For those who've never chatted, since it's spontaneous and the top changes more often than Tink needs to pee, it's great way to get to socialize. |
