After what he's been through, this one only has about 2 lives left.
This was a HUGE fire, too hot to go internal. He was rescued from the basement which, by the way, also contained about 15000 gallons of water!

Yes, he's safe with his owner who is just out of camera shot.
The company I was assigned to was "safety" and the gentleman's daughter was really worried about the cat. I spent several hours looking for it (I get to wander about the fireground:D) and found one but not THE one.
The firefighter holding the cat is the Chief of District Four and one hell of a nice guy. He one of the Chiefs that "work" for a living. |
