KUH may be referring to me here. After his comments on the BC, I emailed him and I pasted his post from the BC and wrote "Ouch." He emailed me with a very kind apology which I accepted. (If anyone wants to see my email reply to KUH, I will be happy to send it to you, I have nothing to hide here. Just PM me.) I personally don't see KUH as "the enemy." I have only 2 people that I have gripes with and they are the two who are threatening lawsuits. I have never had a major complaint about BC policy of securing reservations once WDW stepped in and required credit cards. It is my belief that if WDW has a problem with the BC that it is their fight and they can handle it. WDW is a big corporation and they are quite capable of handling any problem they might have with the BC.

I think all these threats against so-called felons is despicable. I don't see that KUH or any of the members of the BC are the ones instigating this though. My anger is directed towards those "hate-mongers" (YKW and YKW2) who are threatening people that I consider blameless (such as me, DSorcerer, Francine, Crank, Michelle, etc.)

I was very disheartened to read all the copied posts from last night. It hurt me to read such demeaning post from people I have grown to respect here. I thought most of the posts (from both CG members and KUH) crossed the line. They weren't debates or even reasonable arguments but personal attacks on both sides. Tink tried to point that out also but got shot down. (Thanks, Tink)

Once again this is just my opinion and you are free to disagree but, please, no references to size of my p*nis. ;)

Bev

Edited to add: I just saw Coastal's post after I posted this and wanted to end with his quote.

KUH enjoys instigating and I think people were just playing right back with him. I don't think KUH is behind the lawsuit thing however, I really have zero respect for any adult who is told to run and delete posts en masse and does so. Very childish. If you can't stand behind what you say, then don't say it. KUH was right along saying how things on RADP couldn't be erased, those words would haunt people forever, blah blah....but then what does he do on here? Erase his words. KUH is definitely not blameless, he likes to instigate and I have zero respect for any person who claims his family is threatened but continues with the same crap. Sorry but if I felt my family was threatened, the website and postings would stop immediately. Nothing is more important than my family but that is his choice to make, he brought it up and people were free to base their opinions and that happens to be mine.

Bev, you are much kinder than I. :)

Blasting everyone here in a public forum and then selectively apologizing in private emails or in a different forum (and then deleting it) doesn't get it for me. The placement of the public blasting served a purpose to which the private apologies won't risk undoing. Again, no website is worth that to me.

I agree with pretty much everything else you said.
12-02-02 11:56 AM
Crank Bev, I agree with you wholeheartedly. It probably wasn't our finest hour. I went ahead and censored the initial post by soupysales but by that time it was a little too late.

It was of my opinion that SS's initial post was meant to inflame and it did. Perhaps those that responded in kind will think better of it next time and not fall for childish games like these.

As for Deb's retort that we continue to "stir the pot", well, it's our pot, Deb. We can do that *here*. How about where you call home?

In regard to KUH, well, to say the least, I'm surprised.

At first I thought some evil entity had hijacked his password, but, I can't help but know that KUH wouldn't stand for it. Therefore I conclude that it was indeed Dr. KUH posting and I am ashamed for him. I hope he is man enough to realize that, in his family's best interest, he should remove himself from such turmoil and repair the home fences first. Personally and professionally this can't be doing him any good.

KUH, if you read this, take some time off away from all the BS! At least for the holidays.

If you must rejoice in something, let it be your family!

Francine I agree, Bev, with everything you said, except for KUH's apology. KUH says one thing here, then goes home, and blasts us. To apologize via email, only to you, then to come here and be do rude, does not cut it for me. I have lost a lot of respect for KUH recently, for several reasons.

As for the remarks from last night, from both sides, well, disgusting doesn't quite cover what I felt. RN's remark topped them all, in my book. To speak in that manner, about sex, was beyond bad. It had a very violent tone to it, and it gave me a real bad feeling. I am a victim of a violent crime, and remarks such as RN's really affected me.

And, as for all the deleting, well, it speaks volumes for who tells who what to do. I think when YKW, and a couple of others, say jump, there are several folks who say "How high?"

Now, all that being said, I have kept a low profile lately, and intend to keep it that way.

phamton FYI on the apology via email and not on a public forum:

His apology wasn't about the post but for lumping all of the CG members into the same group. He emailed me because I emailed him first with the "Ouch." I don't believe his intention was to send out apologies to everyone that he wasn't referring to in his original post in the BC.

He still has a bone to pick with some here, as do some of you with him. His apology wasn't intended to be a blanket apology. It was a personal apology which I accepted and I did not accept (nor receive) an apology for the entire group.

I hope this makes sense. I don't speak for KUH nor do I speak for the members here at CG. His apology to me was accepted by me, nothing more, nothing less. Do I think he was out-of-line with some of his posts here last night? Absolutely. But I also think many of the other posts were out-of-line.

Ahnalira A contest on who can throw the most creative insults is what I felt I was reading, and it seemed like the folks who participated were having a great time. Those of us who chose to stay out of it probably did so for a variety of reasons. For me, the reason was (besides not being able to post during its initial stages; >) that I couldn't think of any way it would serve my personal reasons for participating here.

Mainly I appreciate those who posted under their known "names" I have alot of respect for folks who are upfront and evident about who they are.

Who stirred the pot first? I'm not sure it really matters; it sure seems like everyone who joined the fracas was eager and ready.

Once I saw what direction Howard was taking it, I found a very personal reason to keep him going. No one MADE him log in and start posting, however if he was stupid enough to do so, I guess I'm guilty of poking and prodding until he finally said what I wanted him to admit:

In essence, he thinks those at the BFC worship him and lick his butt and he considers himself above them. I knew this all along, but I found it refreshing to finally see him admit it in a forum where he couldn't retract.

12-02-02 04:06 PM
Robey Basically from my point of view, KUH was here on a self imposed "sugar rush"- his words (regardless of the source of that sugar.)

He visited right after the inflammatory "soupy" post and his post over at the BFC where he called us ALL "commoners". There were also other inflammatory posts made from those bored waiting in a que at the RC for that web site to be functional.

Although it doesn't really matter, KUH did initially stir the pot up with his post at the BFC. When he came here to spread his holiday cheer in his usual profane way, we reacted. Yes, i did participate. Yes, I did enjoy it. Kinda like finally getting to punch the school yard bully after years of watching him take punches at others. Obviously he thought better of it himself, as he deleted his original posts. He, and others, are bored naming their favorite color, movie, pet name, candy bar, or insecticide. I hope the situation over there is finalized soon. Closed or Open, it doesn't matter to me. As long as it occupies their time.

I do apologize if I offended anyone here. That was not my intent, but I was not very considerate of others when I responded in kind to his Hindass KUH's remarks.

DWDreams I am also sorry if I offended anyone with any of my posts, though I am not sorry for them.

KUH posts a message a RC trashing all who posts here. He may have apologized for doing so to some here, but he certainly didn't post any sort of retraction of it. BUT, when two (yes, two) unknown individuals, Soupysales and then Soupysales2, come in here and attack, both Deb and he have no problem swinging in here to defend these soupys. If they could post here to defend that, why couldn't they, particularly KUH, have posted earlier to apologize and deflect further problems? The answer is clear,it was to stir the pot plain and simple and there are no large spoons on this end. Though we may be guilty of arming ourselves with a few spatula's once attacked ;)

Dsorcerer I have no real problem with KUH, and Fantayzya has been VERY fond of him and his lovely family for several years. ( I never got the chance to meet them) But from what I know, He is a great guy. Lori is NOT happy with him at the moment, with the tatics he has used receintly, and I think he has been slapped by her (although with a rose) as I have, with some crap I have said here. Her slaps are done with kindness, but for Lori to slap you, you deserved it!...
Now Deb Conda...Well she GOT BITCH SLAPPED!
(copies are available to those who can afford it!)
I cooked dinner for her tonight...GAWD I hope she likes it! LOL

I love it when you "2" work in tandem to defend each other....I hope you don't threaten to harm me the way VanBlowtoad has in the past. It has a tendency to frighten me very badly!!

I don't appreciate the innuendo, Tomba. You and I have never met, nor have we ever spoken, and I've never posted to you previously. I don't know who you think I am, though you alluded to it in another thread, but I can assure you that what you're thinking isn't the case. I'm sure these imaginings that frighten you can be controlled with medication, I'd see your doctor. Good luck! :)

fantayzya Dinner was yummy, as always hun. Thanks ;)

and yes, I did get a bit irYKWble with a couple of the people that I was in contact with from RCH in the last couple of days. Your timing was lousy, and I still can't believe what I read.

Funny how I heard from them all at once when there had been essentially nothing for awhile now. I also made it clear to pretty much everyone I did hear from that I will gladly 'go away' if YKW herself gives me assurances, in a form that I can use if need be in the future, that there are no further knives aimed at my back. This would of course include any pointed at my husband as well, since what would affect him in the manner she threatened would by default have an effect on me and my boys too. I don't need an apology, or admission of it being a mistake, just that assurance, and from her directly as she is the one presumably in charge. Anything that Ed may have posted or done that pissed her off was done as a reaction to what he felt was shabby, disrespectful treatment of me. That is in no way a criminal offense.

I've also made the point that while it's nice to see them working so hard to defend eachother here, when they feel they are under attack, I wonder if that defense would exist if the attack originated at RCH and was initiated by top brass. My guess is the silence then would be deafening-based on personal experience anyway.

I will say that there is one person who I heard from who has bravely offered to make an effort on my behalf, when they feel the time is right to do so. I agree it's not right now. I know what a risk it is for you to even make that offer. Thank you.

As an aside, to the powers that be over there who I know are reading. You are losing people. Maybe it's not visible to you yet in your hits, or the number of posts, but it's happening. I've heard from folks who are very frustrated up to and including a loss of that Disney magic that is what we all thought we had in common in the first place. It's been tainted by this disaster. That is so sad. I've heard on more than one occasion that people no longer feel it's a community, and that is a great loss to them. Please, for their sake, and regardless of what you think or feel about me, if you have any intention of making a go of your community, work on that for awhile instead of doing your part to perpetuate this disaster. That is so much more valuable and important, and positive. The majority of the people there have nothing to do with this vendetta, and they don't deserve to be sucked down into it.

This is what I don't understand Lori.....if people are so afraid of YKW, being on their bad side, whatever...isn't there someone there who can do a website similiar to this one for them and get away from being afraid of the people who own the site? I'm trying, honest I am but it's so hard to understand why adults could be fearful of speaking out to someone on the internet in fear of losing posting privledges. To me, no website, no community is more important than my dignity. I couldn't allow to be silenced by anyone if all it was was an honest opinion that may go against the grain.
