Fab,
You clearly don't understand how the FBI works. For God's sake, they can't just go arrest people and search for evidence on their computer. They have to get the "attacked" to form a group of investigators to scour message boards and dig up personal information on anyone that a) could be involved in internet attacks, b) might have encouraged internet attacks, c) might have said anything that was not agreed with by the "attacked", or d) showed any inclination of individual thought concerning the attacks.
Then the leaders must encourage this group ( officially referred to by the enforcement agency envolved as "the group of so little self-esteem they have to participate in an imaginary war on evil to give their lives some value posse) to create as much ill-will as possible and attempt to ruin people's real lives in order to create an imaginary electronic safe-haven for themselves. It did officially start by making the suspects identify themselves by posting utterly stupid statements by the web-site owner. The logic in this is that the loyal following won't know the difference between a stupid statement and a statement of fact. So, those that recognize it as trash must be of the opposition.
Now, mind you, that was only the beginning. There may not be immediate results in complicated affairs of this matter. It could take as long as a year or so long that no one even remembers it ever happened, most likely the latter.
But be not deceived, it will happen. Most likely not in our lifetimes, but it's going to happen. How could such a great collection of minds fail?

Ooohhhhh... (sniffle) I was so looking forward in getting all of the ATTENTION that I supposely adore and crave when FBI kicks my door down and hauls me to the paddy wagon with all of my neighbors gawking and the local news camera focused on.....

All I want to know is when they are finally going to take applications for passwords.
For once I thought they had not bit off more than they could chew when they announced they would be taking the applications at the end of January. But they could not even manage that.
But I guess I am a Pollyana.
Oh how I long for them to finally get their "magic gate" and be locked away from the rest of society.
