This is what puts the Sticky in the Sticky Mickey (and you thought it was The Corner!)
Doing this from memory, lost the recipe long ago but I make it almost every Christmas
1 can sweetened condensed milk (the small one)
1 pkg of semi-sweet morsels (16 oz)
1 square baker's chocolate
1 teaspoon vanilla*
pinch o'salt
OPTIONAL handful of chopped nuts (I like pecan bits)
* Tink's *~*~* secret of baking/making sweets: always double the vanilla!
In a non-stick saucepan, melt the morsels and baker's chocolate over low heat. when pretty much melted, add the condensed milk and the vanilla. Keep stirring, stirring, stirring over low heat until thick and starting to bubble. Take off heat. OPTIONAL throw in the nuts and mix.
COOLING OPTIONS:
Option 1: grease your square brownie baking pan and spread mixture in to cool. When a bit cool, put into fridge to complete the cooling/hardening process. When completely cool and hardened, cut into squares and pry out of pan.
Option 2: wait until cool enough to handle, and then fill a pastry bag without a tip. Drop bite-sized blops onto a greased cookie sheet OR into those itty bitty teeny tiny cupcake papers you can buy in the baking aisle (I believe they are sometimes labeled as being for petite fors). If you choose this option, of course you either a) did not use nuts or b) chopped the nuts small enough to not present a log-jam problem while you are blopping. Cool as above in Option 1.
This stuff is evil. ENJOY! Tink *~*~*
