There were certificates in the jewel cases with the Monsters Inc and Lilo & Stitch dvds. If you attached three Disney DVD or VHS proofs of purchase, you can get a free video. BUT it says to attach the sales receipts too. What if you don't have the sales receipts? What if all the videos were gifts, or if you threw out your receipts not realizing that you'd need them, or what if you bought the dvds off the internet and don't have the shipping documents? I mean, what is the purpose of a "proof of purchase" seal if you have to have the receipt too?

Has anyone ever mailed away for these offers and gotten the free video without having receipts?

That is one of those "marketing things". They put up certain rules in hopes that not everyone participates. A large percentage of rebates $10 and under are NOT redeemed. You can try and send it in, but I suspect they will not fulfill the offer, as the do want to know where you purchased, along with wanting and "out" of the offer.

Well, I'm gonna spend the 34 cents on the stamp and send it in, along with my check for $1.99 shipping and handling, and a note about having purchased everything on the internet and having no receipts. I'm also giving them my daytime phone number in case they want to discuss it!

I always keep my email confirmations for anything I order online. Then again, I never get around to doing the rebates.
I toss my cookies for Disney.

I wonder what inspired this new Disney T-shirt? "I'm right. You're wrong. Any Questions?"
